Job summary

100Hires, Inc. on the shop floor is seeking an Industrial Print Systems Fabrication Technician to rotate through forming, finishing, thermal processing and assembly, delivering custom-built machines on schedule.

You’ll set up press brakes, use grinders and hand/power tools to deburr and finish parts, and stage assemblies through ovens. You’ll verify parts meet specs, assist with material handling, and coordinate with the production team to hit deadlines while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Experience in metal fabrication and machining operations.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
• Comfort with shop safety and clean working environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run press brakes and other metal fabrication equipment to form precise components.
• Finish: use grinders and hand/power tools to deburr and prepare parts.
• Stage assemblies and run parts through industrial ovens, monitoring cycles.
• Assemble components following work instructions and measurements.
• Inspect parts for production specifications and quality.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain safety.

Step onto the shop floor where variety is the norm. As an Industrial Print Systems Fabrication Technician, your day moves through different cells of a manufacturing environment dedicated to building industrial printing equipment for envelope and commercial printing applications. You won’t be anchored to a single station — instead, you’ll rotate through forming, finishing, thermal processing, and assembly to help deliver custom-built machines on schedule.What a day can look likeSet up and run press brakes and other metal fabrication equipment to form precise components.Switch over to finishing: use grinders and a range of hand and power tools to deburr, smooth, and prep parts.Stage assemblies and run parts through the industrial oven, carefully loading, unloading, and monitoring cycles.Move into assembly to help build industrial printing machinery, following work instructions and measurements.Verify parts meet production specifications, inspecting each piece for accuracy and quality.Float between machines and work areas as priorities shift, assisting with material handling and general shop duties.Keep your workspace tidy and safe, contributing to a clean, organized environment.Coordinate with the production team to complete custom equipment and hit deadlines.What you bringBackground in manufacturing or machine operation.Experience with press brakes is a plus.Hands-on skill with grinding, deburring, or metal finishing.Metal fabrication experience; ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices confidently.Exposure to CNC or manual machining is a plus.Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus.Mechanically inclined and eager to learn multiple processes and pieces of equipment.If you thrive on variety, precision, and teamwork, you’ll fit right in—helping transform raw materials into dependable components of industrial print systems.
