Press Operator
Job Goal
A Press Operator reads schematics, performs basic manufacturing math, ensures quality and uses technical/machine skills. This position performs typical press operations to support the production floor.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Completing setup and breakdown of molds.
- Running the press.
- Trimming parts in accordance with technical drawings.
- Reading job travelers and interpreting technical drawings to determine press setup.
- Completing production records using a computer format to maintain cost, efficiencies, inventory, and integrity.
- Ensuring proper cleanliness of press, workstation, and immediate press area by following good housekeeping practices.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to follow directions and work well with others.
- Outstanding punctuality and attendance required.
- Ability to read and understand a tape measure, standard and metric.

Position Type & Expected Hours Of Work
This is a full-time position. 10‑hour shifts M–Th (Press operators must be available for overtime and weekend work if necessary).
Salary
$18.32 per hour
