Job summary

Suntec Concrete seeks a Preconstruction Manager in Phoenix to lead industrial pursuits from opportunity through award. You will coordinate estimating, scheduling, CAD, detailing, and operations to deliver a single cohesive submission.

You will guide preconstruction from concept budgeting through design-assist and IFC, shaping strategy, value engineering, and client-facing discussions with developers and general contractors.

Qualifications

• Industrial construction experience including data centers, tilt-up, or similar large-footprint projects.
• Arizona market familiarity with developers, GCs, jurisdictions, and regional subcontractors.
• Experience working with developers/GCs on self-perform concrete strategy.
• Ability to read and interpret structural & architectural drawings and specs.
• Strong written and verbal communication for client-facing presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead pursuit from opportunity through award with a strategy to win and execute.
• Align estimating, scheduling, CAD and detailing, project managers, and BD around a single submission.
• Own the full preconstruction range from conceptual budgeting to IFC bid and handoff.
• Shape execution strategy to differentiate Suntec and control risk.
• Coordinate with estimating to create a competitive, accurate proposal; lead cross-functional collaboration with scheduling and operations.
