Job summary

Actalent seeks a Construction Manager to oversee mission-critical, data center, and industrial projects in the Phoenix area. You will plan, direct, and coordinate construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives are met, while collaborating with general contractors, subcontractors, and commissioning teams.

The role involves field oversight, risk reporting, and executive-level updates; you will drive issue resolution, support turnover, and maintain strong safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
• 57 years of experience in construction, including at least 5 years supporting mission-critical, data center, industrial, or other highly technical construction projects.
• Minimum of 5 years total construction experience with responsibility for safety, quality, schedule, and cost management.
• Experience managing large commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction projects by developing detailed plans and directing integration of technical activities.
• Present proposals and findings to clients and stakeholders in a clear, professional manner.
• Recruit staff, assign responsibilities, direct daily activities, and develop staff competence.
• Analyze technology, resources, and market demand to plan feasibility of projects.
• Review contracts and cost estimates to align with objectives and budget constraints.
• Drive closure of design, construction, procurement, and commissioning issues by coordinating resolution among stakeholders.
• Support commissioning and turnover activities, including IST and commissioning coordination.
