Job summary

Sammons Industrial, LLC, based in Mobile, AL, seeks a PM Service Technician to keep material handling equipment safe and reliable. You’ll diagnose, service, and repair forklifts and related systems to support our customers’ operations.

You’ll perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, component repairs, rebuilds, and basic welding while practicing safety and DOT/OSHA requirements. You’ll also document service records and pursue ongoing training as part of an ESOP-driven team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of forklift repair or related industry experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a shop environment and lift up to 75 pounds

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair equipment across LP, gas, diesel, and electric systems
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, component repairs, rebuilds, and basic welding
• Maintain safety by securing equipment and following safety practices and applicable regulations
• Complete service records on time and manage parts and supplies
• Complete required technical training and certifications
