Job summary

USG in a manufacturing plant seeks a Reliability professional to maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance process control and drive programs. You will program plant process control equipment and help implement new PLC technologies for continuous improvement.

Collaborate with stakeholders, support plant networking and computer systems, and contribute to lean initiatives, with day shifts in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Certification or specialized education in process control is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability with the engineering, programming, and implementation of industrial control systems.
• Proven experience with control systems components, ladder logic programming, HMI programming and their applications.
• Aptitude for instrumentation and controls design.
• Well developed aptitude around MO computer applications, Project and AutoCAD.
• Ability to troubleshoot and install electrical circuits up to 480V.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodology is a plus.
• Self-starter, with excellent organization skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance the plant’s process control and drive programs.
• Provide programming for plant process control equipment.
• Assist with development and implementation of new PLC technologies for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on needs and project status.
• Support the plant’s networking and computer systems as needed.
