Job summary

Aquatech is seeking an Instrument and Controls Technician for our Pasadena, TX service center. This full-time, Monday–Friday role focuses on electrical maintenance, instrument calibration, and control system oversight for water treatment assets.

You will troubleshoot PLCs, calibrate sensors, and coordinate with subcontractors in a dynamic industrial environment. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of relevant experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and familiarity with water

Qualifications

• Three or more years of relevant experience.
• Industrial water treatment experience preferred.
• Technical School Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical equipment such as motors, VFDs, and valve actuators.
• Maintain Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI for machine-mounted controls.
• Calibrate instruments, analyzers, and positioners.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for outside work.
• Schedule preventative maintenance and lead maintenance activities in facility and rental assets.
