Covia-Holdings-LLC is seeking a dynamic Utility Operator for our Dividing Creek plant. This role ensures safe, productive operation across multiple disciplines and backfills operator positions as needed.

You will support production orders, maintain quality, and assist maintenance while upholding safety and company values. The position emphasizes teamwork, reliable paper trail, and incident-free operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Literacy in English, both verbally and written.
• Previous experience within mining operations, preferably sand.
• Prior exposure to operating heavy equipment.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and risk management.
• Experience working in a team to meet targets.
• Excellent healthcare benefits including medical, vision, dental.

Responsibilities

• Comply with MSHA CFR and site safety procedures.
• Follow safety instructions from supervision on site.
• Adhere to site procedures and management directions.
• Ensure work activities minimize risk to colleagues and others.
• Operate equipment safely to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time to support production.
• Assist with plant maintenance and site housekeeping.
• Handle packaging, shipping, bulk and control room duties as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
