Job summary

Reworld is seeking an Auxiliary Operator to work with the facility control room to operate and inspect power plant systems safely and efficiently, ensuring the operational effectiveness of Reworld’s industrial disposal process.

You will monitor and inspect boiler plant auxiliary equipment, read meters, and perform sampling and chemistry tests as required, with opportunities to operate cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience operating heavy industrial equipment.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to wear a full-face respirator.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect power plant systems per safety procedures.
• Monitor boiler plant auxiliary equipment (pumps, motors, fans, valves, etc.).
• Read meters and gauges to identify trends or equipment disruptions.
• Monitor air pollution control equipment and related systems.
• Perform sampling, chemistry testing, and water treatment as required.
• Safely operate cranes, skid steers, loaders, and forklifts.
• Maintain correct refuse-fuel levels in operations equipment and pits.
• Carry out additional duties to ensure safe, efficient operations.
