Job summary

LGI is seeking a maintenance technician in Kansas to support daily plant operations, maintain equipment, and uphold GMP procedures. You will perform repairs, monitor lagoon systems, and assist with building facilities; routine safety training is required and teamwork is essential.

Responsibilities include inspecting plumbing, operating forklifts, recording data, and following SOPs to ensure safe, efficient operations across production areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read gauges and record data.
• Participates in E-Verify.

Responsibilities

• Gather and report plant utility readings.
• Monitor lagoon levels and leak detection; keep lagoon area clean.
• Inspect and maintain cooling and heating systems.
• Repair and install pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely.
• Follow GMP/SSOP and safety rules; maintain records.
• Complete monthly safety and food safety training.
• Assist in plant and facility maintenance including grounds upkeep.
