Job summary

Accelera is seeking an Industrial Plant Maintenance Technician to join our operations team in Yucca, AZ. You will ensure reliable and efficient manufacturing infrastructure, applying electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to minimize downtime and optimize complex production systems.

Responsibilities include rapid repair responses, preventive maintenance, and CMMS documentation while maintaining safety and high housekeeping standards across all mechanical and electrical areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in industrial maintenance or 2 years in extrusion manufacturing.
• Proficient troubleshooting of electrical distribution panels, circuit breakers, and buss bar disconnects.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hydraulics, motors, and plumbing experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Execute rapid response repairs for emergency equipment breakdowns to maintain continuous production flow.
• Conduct proactive facility rounds to monitor air compressors, chillers, water pumps, and extrusion machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance, including lubrication, filter replacement, and system inspections to extend equipment lifespan.
• Utilize CMMS to document work orders, track labor, and manage spare parts inventory.
• Perform basic fabrication and welding tasks to support equipment modifications and structural repairs.
• Maintain rigorous safety standards and housekeeping across all mechanical and electrical work areas.
