Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years pipefitting experience in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of industry standard concepts, practices, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand plans and documentation to determine scope, locations, quantities and sizes of materials.
• Layout, fabricate, and install pipe spools from spool sheets.
• Flame cut pipe to length and bevel; clean and prepare pipe for fit-up.
• Perform layout, rigging, and transportation of pipe, valves and fittings.
• Thread pipe using threading machine.
• Bend pipe by hand or with pipe-bending tools and machines.
• Select and use manual, pneumatic, and electric tools according to tasks.
• Hoist equipment and tools into location via bull rigging or crane.
• Load, transport and unload material, tools, equipment and supplies.
