Manhattan Mechanical Services is seeking an experienced Pipefitter to perform layout and fit up of piping systems in an industrial facility. The role requires reading blueprints and isometrics, fabricating piping, and installing supports and hangers while following safety and quality procedures.

You will work in a safety-sensitive environment with PPE and possible outdoor exposure. Candidates should have 4+ years of pipefitting experience and NCCER Pipefitter certification or testing in process.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to attend continued training applicable to the job.
• Must pass the NCCER Assessment Test for Pipefitter Skill Set and be Performance Verified.
• Four or more years of experience as a pipefitter in the construction industry.

Responsabilités

• Safe use of pipe hand and power tools.
• Fabricate threaded pipe, socket weld pipe and butt weld pipe.
• Build and install pipe hangers and supports.
• Experience with Hydro Testing.
• Prioritize tasks according to the job schedule.
• Understand Quality Control procedures.
• Keep track of components and materials for the job.
• Work as a team to support the project.
• Participate in health, safety, quality and environmental processes.
