Job summary

PPM in Hopewell, VA is seeking a Pipe Fitter for industrial construction environments. This role covers layout, fabrication, installation, maintenance and repair of piping systems, structural steel, vessels, pumps and equipment in demanding facilities.

The successful candidate will have at least three years of pipefitting experience in industrial construction, a strong safety record, excellent attendance, and the ability to pass a drug screen, with on-site work requiring lifting and use of power

Responsibilities

• Layout, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble structural forms in a steam boiler environment.
• Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.
• Must be experienced in Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel.
• Must be experienced in taking your own measurements and use power tools.
