Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Completion of an accredited pipefitting apprenticeship.
• Proficient with pipefitting tools and equipment.
• Able to install, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and schematics for piping layouts and installation.
• Assemble, fabricate, install, and maintain piping systems and related equipment.
• Measure, mark, cut, thread, and weld pipes as required.
• Use hand and power tools to cut, thread, and bend pipes.
• Inspect sites for safety and code compliance.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on piping systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair piping components as needed.
• Collaborate with other trades to complete projects.
• Maintain records of work performed and materials used.
