Qualifications

• Ability to install, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout and installation of piping systems.
• Assemble, fabricate, install, and maintain piping and systems, fixtures, and equipment.
• Measure and mark pipes for cutting, threading, and welding.
• Use hand and power tools to cut, thread, and bend pipes.
• Install supports, hangers, and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Inspect sites for obstructions and ensure code compliance.
• Conduct pressure tests for safety and integrity of piping systems.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on piping systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair piping systems and components.
• Collaborate with other trades to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain records of work performed and materials used.
• Adhere to company policies and OSHA safety standards.

ASSEMBLERS

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout and installation of piping systems.
• Assemble, fabricate, install, and maintain piping and piping systems, fixtures, and equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems.
• Measure and mark pipes for cutting, threading, and welding.
• Use hand and power tools to cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles.
• Install supports, hangers, and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Inspect work sites for obstructions and ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Conduct pressure tests to ensure the integrity and safety of piping systems.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on piping systems and related components.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty or damaged piping systems and components.
• Collaborate with other trades and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Adhere to company policies and OSHA safety standards at all times

Requirements

• Certification or knowledge of OSHA safety standards is a plus.
