Job summary

KAD Staffing is seeking Assemblers in the Mequon, WI area to interpret blueprints, assemble and maintain piping systems for industrial applications. You will measure, cut, thread, and weld pipes, using hand and power tools while following safety standards.

Required are a high school diploma or GED and completion of a certified pipefitting apprenticeship. Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills are essential for success on site.

Qualifications

ASSEMBLERS

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout and installation of piping systems.
• Assemble, fabricate, install, and maintain piping and piping systems, fixtures, and equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems.
• Measure and mark pipes for cutting, threading, and welding.
• Use hand and power tools to cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles.
• Install supports, hangers, and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Inspect work sites for obstructions and ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Conduct pressure tests to ensure the integrity and safety of piping systems.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on piping systems and related components.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty or damaged piping systems and components.
• Collaborate with other trades and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Adhere to company policies and OSHA safety standards at all times

Requirements
