Job summary

Turner Industries seeks a Pipefitter for Norco, LA. The role lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and maintains piping systems for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, and industrial processing. Non-exempt; reports to Foreman; duties per procedures; work checked frequently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• NCCER credentials or ability to pass craft test.
• 1–4 years of pipefitting experience (level dependent).
• Must meet client safety requirements and wear PPE.
• Per diem and relocation are not provided.

Responsibilities

• Selects size and type of pipe and related material per job specs.
• Inspects sites and plans installation to avoid obstructions.
• Joins pipe using threaded, caulked, soldered, brazed, fused or cemented joints.
• Installs refrigeration and air-conditioning piping systems and tests for leaks.
