Job summary

HardHat Workforce Solutions seeks experienced Pipefitters for opportunities in the Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland area.

Responsibilities include installing commercial and industrial piping systems, spanning chilled water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensate water. You will work with multiple pipe materials and fabricate supports, while troubleshooting and inspecting installed systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in commercial or industrial construction.
• Strong work ethic and calm mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
• Able to remain stationary for long periods.
• Experience with pipefitter equipment and power tools.
• Capability to bring tools to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial & industrial piping systems (chilled water, hot water, steam, condensate).
• Work with multiple pipe materials (stainless steel, carbon steel, copper, rigid).
• Cutting or boring holes in structures.
• Fabricate pipe supports.
• Troubleshoot problems in installed systems.
• Inspect/test installed piping systems.
