Job summary

Stellar Energy Americas Inc. in Jacksonville, FL or Fort Worth, TX is hiring a full-time Pipefitter to install and assemble piping systems for industrial facilities. You will read blueprints, set datum lines, and install valves, pumps, tanks, and related components with attention to safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in pipefitting, experience with hydro testing to 150 psi, and the ability to work in a fabrication environment, sometimes at height, with PPE and OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years experience in Pipefitting.
• Knowledge of threading, grinding, welding, brazing, rigging, plasma cutting and gas arc cutting.
• Knowledge of datum lining, piping center lines and work points.
• Fluent in hydro process for 150 PSI testing and inspections.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications and blueprints to guide installation.
• Install valves, suction diffusers, pumps, chillers and piping components to complete systems.
• Set up and verify measurements, datum lines, and centerlines.
• Operate overhead cranes or forklifts per safety guidelines.
• Ensure safety, quality and OSHA compliance in daily work.
• Document quality reporting per SEA standards.
• Direct and monitor two or more helpers.
