Job summary

Zachry Group is seeking an Industrial Pipe Fitter in Rincon, AZ to assemble, lay out, install and maintain pipe systems for steam, fluid or gas services. You will work in buildings, outdoors and inside structures, with exposure to underground relates and heights up to 300 ft.

The role requires hands-on fitting, reading prints and following safety protocols on industrial construction sites. The team collaborates to deliver high quality piping for power and industrial plants.

Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years working as an Industrial Pipe Fitter or Pipe Fitter Helper.
• Ability to read prints and illustrate thorough knowledge of pipe fitting procedures and skills.
• Must have good leadership and communication skills.
• Experience on an industrial construction project.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specs to determine scope, locations, quantities, and material sizes.
• Identify all tools required for tasks.
• Identify safety risks and precautions to eliminate them.
• Prepare, fabricate, install, and fit pipe to specifications.
• Install valves, hangars, supports, flanges inside piping system.
• Perform tests to ensure pipe and piping system quality.
• Hoist loads using rigging equipment.
