Job summary

MSW Machinery Solutions in Inman, SC seeks a hands-on pipe fitter for shop fabrication and field installations at industrial facilities. You will layout, fabricate, install, and modify piping systems while reading drawings and working with carbon steel and stainless steel.

Job description

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, mechanically inclined, dependable, and takes pride in doing quality work. This position will involve both shop fabrication and field installation at industrial customer facilities.

What You'll Do:

• Layout, fabricate, install, and modify industrial piping systems.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and piping layouts.
• Measure, cut, fit, and install pipe, fittings, valves, and supports.
• Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, and other industrial piping materials.
• Perform equipment and piping installations at customer facilities.
• Use hand tools, power tools, cutting equipment, and fabrication equipment.
• Work closely with welders, millwrights, electricians, and other trades.
• Troubleshoot and make modifications to existing piping systems.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Travel to customer sites as required.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous industrial pipe fitting experience.
• Strong mechanical ability and good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read drawings and accurately lay out work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with industrial manufacturing environments preferred.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Millwright or industrial maintenance experience is a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Must be willing to travel for occasional extended projects.
