Job summary

Russell Stover Chocolates LLC is seeking an Industrial Performance Specialist for our Abilene manufacturing facility. You will drive TPM, Lean practices, and a data-driven culture to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.

You will coach teams, coordinate with Engineering, Production, HR, and QA/R&D to implement standardized processes, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years manufacturing/continuous improvement experience.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Operational Excellence systems.
• Practical SAP or ERP experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of financial analysis and manufacturing performance metrics.
• Advanced computer literacy including Microsoft Office and data systems.
• Strong analytical skills to translate data into improvements.
• Ability to coach and train teams across the organization.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive TPM and Lean manufacturing practices, including 5S and standardized work.
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify losses and drive improvements in productivity, OEE, waste, and quality.
• Coordinate performance control systems, daily management, KPI tracking, and action follow-ups.
• Lead structured problem-solving and cross-functional improvement workshops.
• Lead SMED and changeover reduction initiatives to improve line flexibility and efficiency.
• Utilize SAP and other systems to extract and translate data for plant leadership.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Supply Chain to raise equipment effectiveness.
• Coach teams on KPIs, standards, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Support deployment of the plant's Industrial Performance strategy and culture.
