Job summary

Siemens Smart Infrastructure is seeking a Technician Trainer for its Protection and Automation Panels operation in Wendell, NC. You will onboard and train technicians, reinforce assembly guidelines, and support ICP build processes on the shop floor.

You will develop training materials, coach technicians, and ensure safety, quality, and standard work across production teams. This role emphasizes hands-on instruction and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Ability to train, coach, and guide technicians in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills focused on safety and workmanship.
• Experience reading schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, BOMs, and assembly drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and hands-on training for new technicians, including entry-level hires.
• Teach technicians how to assemble Industrial Control Panels (ICPs) and similar equipment to established standards.
• Train on mechanical assembly, wiring methods, routing, crimping, torque, and safe tool use.
• Instruct reading of schematics, diagrams, layouts, BOMs, and assembly drawings during production.
• Train employees on end-of-line testing, verification steps, and quality expectations.
• Partner with production, engineering, quality, and materials teams to improve training effectiveness.
