Job summary

Diversified Construction & Design is seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to prepare, abrasive blast, coat, and finish structural steel, piping, tanks, equipment, machinery, and other industrial surfaces.

The candidate will handle surface preparation, abrasive blasting, and painting equipment while ensuring coatings meet project specifications and safety requirements in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial painting, coating, and abrasive blasting is preferred.
• Knowledge of surface preparation and coating application to achieve clean, protective finishes.
• Ability to read safety information, SDS, and project specs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and abrasive blasting.
• Operate and maintain blasting and painting equipment and supplies.
• Apply primers, paints, epoxies, and protective coatings as specified.
• Mix coatings per manufacturer specs and monitor film thickness.
• Inspect finished surfaces and perform touch-ups as needed.
