Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Must read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Uses the prescribed PPE and maintains a clean, safe work area.
• Prepares painting equipment and ensures paint parameters meet specifications.
• Paints product to required specifications and performs wet mil checks for thickness.
• Inspects prepped product for cleanliness and non-conformances.
• Records data on data sheets and reviews work orders for accuracy.
• Receives paint shipments, unloads, checks for damages, and records discrepancies.
• Locks down paint area and secures equipment at end of shift.
