Job summary

Alliance Machine Systems International, LLC is seeking an assembly painter to prepare metal surfaces, apply primers and finish paints per customer specifications. The role requires reading drawings, following procedures, and maintaining documentation with a hands-on, safety-conscious approach.

Under supervision, you will support higher level painters, inspect parts for quality, and ensure accurate MSDS handling while maintaining organized work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Military, trade school or community college coursework in hydraulic-mechanical assembly, repair, and troubleshooting desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic metal preparation for paint applications.
• Apply primer to parts and paint as specified.
• Inspect incoming parts for flaws and notify supervisor of exceptions.
• Organize and clean storage areas to maintain efficiency.
• Read and interpret basic drawings and schematics.
• Assist higher level painters in preparation and painting.
• Provide input on quality, cost, and production issues.
• Detect defective material and report to supervisor.
• Explain the location, use, and definition of MSDS.
• Complete area documentation accurately and on time.
• Demonstrate safe crane operation and rigging under supervision.
