Qualdoc in York, PA is looking for a versatile Painter / Material Handler for a contract-to-hire role. The job blends painting tasks with material handling in a fast-paced production setting. Shifts are available on 1st and 2nd.

Paint work accounts for about 20% of duties; you will operate overhead cranes, load/unload materials, and use measuring tools while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous painting experience and knowledge of painting techniques.
• Experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts, or similar industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure.
• Ability to pass a respiratory fit test.
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
• Comfortable performing a variety of duties in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial painting tasks, approximately 20% of the role.
• Operate overhead cranes to move materials and support production.
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Perform rigging activities for equipment and materials.
• Use a tape measure and other measuring tools accurately.
• Operate forklifts and other industrial equipment as needed.
• Complete respiratory fit testing and follow safety procedures.
• Assist with various production and shop duties as assigned.
• Adapt to changing tasks and support different areas of the operation.
• Follow PPE requirements and safe handling procedures when working with chemicals and equipment.
