Job summary

Qualdoc is seeking a reliable Overhead Crane Operator / Material Handler on 2nd shift in York, PA. You will move and load structural steel, operate overhead cranes, and assist with yard activities.

The job requires experience loading steel with an overhead crane and familiarity with Pettibone equipment. Outdoor work and dependable attendance are expected, with pay starting at $22/hour plus a $3/night differential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating cranes or handling materials.
• Required: Experience loading structural steel with an overhead crane.
• Pettibone equipment experience is a plus.
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes to safely move and load structural steel.
• Use Pettibone equipment to transport steel throughout the yard.
• Unload incoming trailers and organize materials.
• Jockey trailers around the yard as needed.
• Follow safe material-handling practices.
• Maintain reliable attendance and follow scheduled work hours.
• Work safely in an outdoor environment and changing weather conditions.
