The role emphasizes safe handling, reliable attendance, and teamwork. Starting pay is $22.00 per hour, with a $3.00 per hour night-shift differential; higher rates may be available based on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating cranes or handling materials.
• Required: Experience loading structural steel with an overhead crane.
• Training may be provided on certain equipment for candidates with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes to safely move and load structural steel.
• Use Pettibone equipment to transport steel throughout the yard.
• Unload incoming trailers and organize materials.
• Jockey trailers around the yard as needed.
• Follow safe material-handling practices.
• Maintain reliable attendance and follow scheduled work hours.
• Work safely in an outdoor environment and changing weather conditions.
