Job summary

Diamondback-Airboats is seeking a Painter/Laborer to handle all aspects of paint from prep to finish and to assist in other departments as needed. This 1st shift position runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., with overtime as required.

Required: at least 1 year of prep, sanding, wet sanding and buffing; at least 1 year painting on surfaces including aluminum and fiberglass. Preferred: forklift certification and ability to follow detailed work orders.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of prep, sanding, wet sanding and buffing.
• At least 1 year painting on aluminum, fiberglass and various surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Clean surfaces prior to painting.
• Maintain equipment and ensure they are in working order.
• Dispose of chemical waste safely.
• Ensure PPE is used.
• Use different painting techniques based on surface.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
• Drive to obtain paint when required.
