Job summary

iWorkforce Solutions in Baytown, TX is seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to perform surface preparation, painting, and maintenance tasks in a safe, efficient manner. Candidates should have experience with prepping, sanding, spray painting, and working at heights.

This hands-on role requires following work orders to select the correct paint system, maintaining and cleaning equipment, and documenting all paint work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial painting experience required.
• 3 years of experience in prepping, sanding, and painting preferred.
• Experience with spray painting and industrial coating systems.
• Must be comfortable and able to work at heights.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and proper handling of painting materials and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Surface preparation including masking and sanding prior to painting or sandblasting.
• Perform spray painting, undercoating, and application of preservatives and lubricants.
• Follow work orders and specifications to determine paint system for each job.
• Spray paint small components prior to assembly and final coating.
• Clean and maintain paint shop equipment, including air lines, fluid lines, paint pots, paint guns, and respirators.
• Maintain and replace paint booth media filters and surface protectant coatings as needed.
• Properly contain, handle, and dispose of hazardous and paint waste.
• Clean and store empty paint containers for proper disposal.
• Complete required paint and work order documentation.
• Follow all company safety, health, and environmental procedures.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Job description

We are seeking experienced Industrial Painters to perform surface preparation, painting, and maintenance tasks in a safe and efficient manner. Candidates must have experience with prepping, sanding, spray painting, and working at heights.

Pay Rate: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule: 7 days per week, 12-hour shifts

Available Shifts

• Day Shift: 5:00 AM-5:00 PM - 4 positions available
• Night Shift: 5:00 PM-5:00 AM - 4 positions available

Key Responsibilities

• Perform surface preparation, including masking and sanding products prior to painting or sandblasting.
