Job summary

Successful candidates typically have 3–5 years as a journeyman painter, completion of an accredited apprenticeship, and the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years as a fully qualified journeyman painter.
• Drywall finishing experience up to level 5.
• Active DOE L or Q security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Repair, patch, prepare and paint a variety of surfaces.
• Analyze simple drawings, specifications, and instructions to layout work.
• Maintain records including waste stream documentation and safety practices.
• Fabricate and install signs using block letters, decals, and free-hand lettering.
