Arcosa Wind Towers, Inc. in Belen, NM seeks a Painter to prepare materials, surfaces, and structures for coatings such as paint, laminate, rubber, or other materials. You will apply coatings to specifications and complete special applications as required, on metal and other surfaces.

The role involves operating conventional and airless spray equipment, training peers, and ensuring details meet customer standards while maintaining safety and attendance expectations.

Qualifications

• Preferred Experience: 3 Years
• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Read, write, and speak proficiently in English
• Ability to operate plural component pumps, wet film gauge and environmental gauges

Responsibilities

• Spray and apply hand-held coatings
• Use hand tools to clean or prepare surfaces
• Train in surface preparation through blast process
• Operate spray equipment to apply industrial finishes
• Prepare and respray surfaces not meeting specs
• Train fellow employees
• Repair paint equipment (tips, hoses, pumps)
• Inspect work
• Complete Quality and Production documents
• Assist in meeting deadlines
• Maintain attendance standards
