Job summary

ITW in Minnesota is seeking an experienced technician to manage cleaning and painting within the department and to perform maintenance on all paint equipment, including pumps and guns. The role includes handling hazardous materials, ordering parts, and coordinating with engineers on projects to estimate paint needs and times.

You will also operate forklifts, maintain inventory, and support ISO documentation while training staff to ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Previous paint experience preferred.
• Able to work Tuesday - Friday 5:00am - 3:30pm and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean parts for painting.
• Liquid spray painting of parts.
• Powder painting of parts.
• Capable of power washing all parts.
• Hazardous material handling on a daily basis.
• Maintain painting equipment and tools.
• Repair paint equipment.
• Operate computer as required.
• Maintain all inventory levels for paint and supplies.
• Complete paperwork assignments, work orders, time accounting, etc.
