Job summary

ProSource Staffing is seeking an experienced Industrial Mobile Equipment Painter for a high-precision, repetitive manufacturing setting in Houston, TX. The role focuses on surface preparation, priming, and applying durable coatings to components and assemblies.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with conventional and HVLP paint guns, resin-based coatings, and pressurized pots, with proven ability to lift heavy parts and work safely in a fast-paced, industrial environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience using paint guns.
• Experience with conventional paint guns and pressure pot systems.
• Experience with epoxy paints and polyurethane paints.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to pass drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare unpainted surfaces using shot blasting and pneumatic sanding.
• Operate a rail-fed continuous shot blaster to prep surfaces.
• Mask surfaces for precise paint applications; wipe and clean components.
• Use HVLP paint guns and pressure pots to apply primers and topcoats.
• Work with epoxy and polyurethane coatings and mix materials as required.
• Maintain paint guns, sprayers, pots and related equipment.
• Identify and address coating issues to maintain quality standards.
