Job summary

Groome Industrial Service Group is seeking an Industrial Painter to perform surface preparation and coating application for industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience with abrasive blasting, hand and power-tool cleaning, and applying coatings with brush, roller, and airless spray.

Ability to read coating specs and access Port of Miami credentials is required. The role offers a wage range of $20.00–$24.00 per hour, full-time hours, and benefits including health

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial surface preparation and coating applications.
• Experience with abrasive blasting, hand tool cleaning, power-tool cleaning, pressure washing.
• Experience applying industrial coatings using brush, roller, and airless spray equipment.
• Ability to read coating specifications, product data sheets, and jobsite requirements.
• Must be able to obtain required credentials for access to the Port of Miami.

Responsibilities

• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial surface preparation and coating applications.
• Proven experience with abrasive blasting, hand tool cleaning, power-tool cleaning, pressure washing, and other industrial surface preparation methods.
• Experience applying industrial coatings using brush, roller, and airless spray equipment.
• Ability to read and understand coating specifications, product data sheets, and jobsite requirements.
• Ability to work safely at heights and around moving industrial equipment.
• Strong understanding of proper surface preparation, coating application, dry film thickness, recoat windows, and general industrial painting practices.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Must be able to obtain required credentials for access to the Port of Miami.
