Job summary

Groome Industrial Service Group is seeking an Industrial Painter in the United States (Atlanta area) to perform surface preparation and coating application for industrial facilities nationwide. The role requires reading specifications, applying coatings with brushes, rollers, and airless spray, and working safely at heights.

A minimum of five years' experience is required; Port of Miami credentials may be needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial surface preparation and coating applications.
• Experience with abrasive blasting, hand/tool cleaning, pressure washing.
• Ability to apply coatings using brush, roller, and airless spray equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand coating specifications, product data sheets, and site requirements.
• Prepare surfaces to required standards and apply industrial coatings.
• Work safely at heights and around moving equipment.
• Maintain reliable transportation and attendance.
• Obtain required credentials for access to the Port of Miami.
