Job summary

Impact Environmental Group is seeking an Industrial Painter to prepare surfaces, mix and apply paints, and operate spray systems in accordance with drawings and instructions.

The role involves surface prep, coating applications, and equipment operation, with a focus on quality and safety under tight timelines.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of previous field experience.
• Knowledge of various blasting.
• Knowledge of various painting methods and applications.
• Computer literacy, good organizational skills, able to meet aggressive timelines.
• Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.

• Mix paints to desired colors and consistencies.
• Prepare surfaces through grinding, sanding, polishing, caulking and sealing.
• Apply coatings through conventional, airless and plural spray systems.
• Apply paint with brush and roll.
• Operate various types of equipment such as blast pots and spray guns.
• Spray with consistent millage.
• Safely operate construction tools and equipment as needed.

The Industrial Painter uses a variety of equipment and materials to prepare surfaces and apply paint in accordance with written instructions and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Mix paints to desired colors and consistencies.
• Prepare surfaces through but not limited to: grinding, sanding, polishing, caulking and sealing.
• Apply coatings through conventional, airless and plural spray systems.
• Apply paint with brush and roll.
• Operate various types of equipment such as blast pots and spray guns.
• Spray with consistent millage.
• Safely operates construction tools and equipment as needed.
