Key Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare surfaces (masking, grit blasting, or chemical prep)
• Prepare paints with high accuracy, using viscosity cups, thickness gauges, and gloss gauges; understanding chemistry of paint compounds
• Clean work area; knowledge of safe handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals and waste
• Maintain and troubleshoot paint equipment
• Experience in high-end paint prepping; sign industry experience preferred
• Use industrial spray guns, including setup, operation, and basic maintenance
• Perform other duties as required

Experience and Qualifications

• Experience with industrial spray guns (setup, operation, maintenance)
• Experience in fast-paced, high-production environments
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Self-motivated; able to work independently and in a team

Competencies

• Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts and containers
• Ability to be fitted for a respirator (medical and physical clearance)
• Other safety requirements as deemed necessary by the company

Physical Demands

The physical demands include:
