Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and prepare surfaces (masking, grit blasting, or chemical prep)
• Prepare paints with a high degree of accuracy, using viscosity cups, thickness gauges, and gloss gauges; understanding chemistry of compounds
• Handle and dispose of hazardous chemicals safely
• Maintain and troubleshoot paint equipment
• Experience in high-end paint prepping; sign industry experience preferred
• Use industrial spray guns, including setup, operation, and basic maintenance
• Perform other duties as required

Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience with industrial spray guns
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-production environment
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team

Competencies:

• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, push, and pull
• Fitted for a respirator (medical and physical requirements)
• Other safety requirements as deemed necessary by the company

Physical Demands:

• Moderate to heavy lifting
• Long periods of standing
• Use of hand tools and forming materials
