Ranew's Companies is seeking an Industrial Painter to join our team in Waterloo, IA.

Job Description

Industrial painters apply paint and other coatings to a variety of materials and surfaces, working as part of a team. We are looking for Industrial Painters with real industrial coating experience, including Liquid Spray or Powder Coat.

Location: Waterloo, IA.
Salary: $16 - $23 /hour (starting pay is based on experience)
Job Type: Full-time (1st Shift)

Primary Responsibilities

• Painting and coating surfaces.

Other Responsibilities

• Prepare paints using measurement equipment such as viscosity cups, thickness gauges, and gloss gauges. Use understanding of chemistry to mix appropriate compounds for each job.
• Apply paint using techniques and tools like spray equipment, rollers, or brushes, choosing the best tools for the task. Apply primers, pre-finish coats, and finishing coats. Use protective gear as required.
• Clean work areas after completing jobs, following all safety guidelines for handling and disposing of hazardous chemicals and waste.
