Job summary

Bridge Brothers is seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to apply high-performance protective coatings to structural steel bridge components and ensure long-term durability in demanding environments.

This hands-on manufacturing role involves applying epoxy, zinc-rich, polyurethane coatings and verifying thickness, coverage, and finish quality. Overtime and competitive hourly pay are available based on experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience as an industrial painter, structural steel painter, or protective coatings applicator.
  • Experience using airless spray equipment.
  • Familiarity with epoxy, zinc-rich, polyurethane, or similar coating systems.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and coating specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work.
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus.
  • NACE or SSPC certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Apply industrial coatings to structural steel using airless spray equipment.
  • Mix and apply epoxy, zinc‑rich, urethane, and other protective coating systems.
  • Verify proper coating thickness, coverage, and finish quality.
  • Read and follow coating specifications and work instructions.
  • Perform touch‑up work as needed.
  • Maintain spray equipment, hoses, and paint systems.
  • Work closely with Quality Control to meet project specifications.
  • Follow all safety procedures when handling coatings and solvents.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

About The Role
