Job summary

Aeroservicios USA in Miami is seeking an experienced Bodyshop Painter to prepare, paint, and refine Ground Support Equipment (GSE) used in airport operations. The ideal candidate has strong surface preparation skills and experience with industrial coatings to meet safety and quality standards.

The role requires reading technical instructions, following safety data sheets, and maintaining paint booths. On-site work Monday–Friday with a focus on detail and safety in a busy workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bodyshop or Industrial Painter (not strictly required but preferred).
• Experience painting GSE, heavy equipment, trucks, buses, or industrial machinery preferred.
• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and paint systems.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions and safety data sheets.
• Familiarity with corrosion protection and protective coatings is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to work in workshop environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare GSE units for painting (cleaning, sanding, filling, masking, priming).
• Apply paint using appropriate spray methods according to specifications.
• Mix paints, hardeners, and thinners to required ratios.
• Match colors and finishes to standards.
• Inspect finished surfaces for defects and perform touch-ups as needed.
• Maintain paint booths, tools, and equipment in safe working condition.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.

• Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support operational efficiency and business needs.

Education and Experience

• Proven experience as a Bodyshop or Industrial Painter
• Experience painting GSE, heavy equipment, trucks, buses, or industrial machinery preferred
• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and paint systems
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions and safety data sheets.
• Familiarity with corrosion protection and protective coatings is an advantage
• Physically fit and able to work in workshop environments
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
