Job summary

Magna International, Northwood, OH, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Paint Department. You will perform preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot complex equipment, and manage CMMS records to ensure reliable operation of manufacturing assets.

The role requires an Associate’s degree and knowledge of Industrial Electrical and PLCs; six years of related experience may substitute. Manufacturing experience is preferred and safety training is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; six years related experience may substitute.
• Knowledge of Industrial Electrical systems and PLC.
• Reading parts breakdown and machine schematics.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records using CMMS and work order procedures.
• Troubleshoot, repair or replace components in Paint Department equipment.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance per CMMS.
• Read parts breakdown and machine schematics.
• Involved in hazardous waste management.
• Attend annual training.
• Troubleshoot and repair paint maintenance equipment.
• Perform maintenance on conveyor systems.
