Job summary

A-JAX Company is seeking an experienced Industrial Outside Sales Representative to manage customer relationships and develop new business throughout an assigned territory, primarily in Ocala, FL and surrounding areas. The role offers a base salary of $60,000–$70,000 per year, with quarterly variable compensation based on performance.

The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial distribution or related B2B sales, ability to travel locally, and a proven track record in growing accounts

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside sales, account management, or business development experience preferred.
• Experience in industrial distribution, construction supply, fasteners, MRO, manufacturing, wholesale distribution, building materials, or related B2B environment preferred.
• Experience selling to contractors, manufacturers, maintenance departments, construction companies, industrial facilities, or commercial customers is highly desirable.
• Experience developing new business while maintaining and growing existing accounts.
• Experience managing a geographic sales territory and conducting in-person customer visits preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally throughout the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with existing customers throughout the assigned territory.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Prospect for new accounts through territory development, referrals, networking, and customer outreach.
• Manage the sales process from initial contact through close.
• Meet with customers to understand project requirements, purchasing needs, and business priorities.
• Recommend products and solutions based on customer applications and requirements.
• Develop territory sales plans and account growth strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide a strong customer experience.
