Job summary

Cinter Career is seeking a Vulnerability Management Engineer (OT) for a Japanese Global Automotive Group's IT & Cybersecurity division. Location is Greensboro, NC with a hybrid work arrangement.

The role focuses on vulnerability assessments, remediation tracking, and cross-functional collaboration with IT, engineering, and operations across global teams. A strong OT/IC/SCADA background with security expertise is required, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or equivalent.
• Hands-on vulnerability management experience in OT/IC/SCADA environments.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability assessment, remediation tracking and risk management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in cross-functional and multicultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Vulnerability Assessment: conduct regular assessments to identify OT security weaknesses.
• Remediation Management: track and manage remediation efforts for timely resolution.
• Collaboration: coordinate with IT, engineering and operations to remediate findings.
• Documentation: maintain documentation of assessments, actions and compliance.
• Training and Awareness: provide training on vulnerability management best practices and tools.
• Continuous Improvement: stay updated on trends and improve processes.
• Travel: be prepared to travel for on-site assessments and global collaboration.

• Vulnerability Assessment:Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify security weaknesses in OT systems.
• Remediation Management:Track and manage remediation efforts to ensure timely resolution of identified vulnerabilities.
• Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and operations, to communicate findings and coordinate remediation activities.
• Documentation:Maintain comprehensive documentation of vulnerability assessments, remediation actions, and compliance status.
• Training and Awareness:Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on vulnerability management best practices and tools.
• Continuous Improvement:Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and vulnerabilities and contribute to the continuous improvement of vulnerability management processes.
• Travel:Be prepared to travel as required for on-site assessments and collaboration with global teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent professional experience.
• Hands-on experience in Vulnerability Management, preferably within OT, ICS, SCADA, or industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability assessment, remediation tracking, and cybersecurity risk management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving cybersecurity challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Management, Qualys, Tanium, and/or Microsoft Defender.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, GICSP, or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or industrial cybersecurity environments.
