Cinter Career is seeking a Vulnerability Management Engineer (OT) to join our client’s IT & Cybersecurity division in Greensboro, NC. You will assess OT/ICS vulnerabilities, coordinate remediation, and report findings to global teams in a hybrid, contract role.

Ideal candidates have OT/ICS experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across IT, engineering, and operations while staying current with cybersecurity trends.

Qualifications

▶︎ Key Responsibilities

• Vulnerability Assessment:Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify security weaknesses in OT systems.
• Remediation Management:Track and manage remediation efforts to ensure timely resolution of identified vulnerabilities.
• Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and operations, to communicate findings and coordinate remediation activities.
• Documentation:Maintain comprehensive documentation of vulnerability assessments, remediation actions, and compliance status.
• Training and Awareness:Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on vulnerability management best practices and tools.
• Continuous Improvement:Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and vulnerabilities and contribute to the continuous improvement of vulnerability management processes.
• Travel:Be prepared to travel as required for on-site assessments and collaboration with global teams.

• Hands-on experience in Vulnerability Management, preferably within OT, ICS, SCADA, or industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability assessment, remediation tracking, and cybersecurity risk management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving cybersecurity challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Management, Qualys, Tanium, and/or Microsoft Defender.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, GICSP, or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or industrial cybersecurity environments.
