Job summary

Crescent Energy is seeking an OT Network Engineer to design, support, and enhance the organization’s OT networking for upstream oil and gas operations. The role ensures reliability, availability, and security for field communications enabling SCADA, telemetry, and remote operations.

You will collaborate with Operations, SCADA, Cybersecurity, and Infrastructure teams on day-to-day support, infrastructure modernization, and major capital projects, while maintaining documentation and standards

Qualifications

5–10 years of OT networking experience in upstream oil & gas or industrial environments.
Experience with acquisitions, infrastructure upgrades, and network modernization.
Strong knowledge of industrial Ethernet, TCP/IP, routing, and VPNs.
Familiarity with SCADA, RTUs, PLCs, telemetry.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day operational support for the enterprise OT network, ensuring high availability and reliability of field communications infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues impacting SCADA, automation systems, telemetry, and field operations.
Monitor network health, performance, and capacity, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact operations.
Support on-call responsibilities for critical OT network incidents and operational outages.
Assist with Installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrading field communication systems including cellular, radio, microwave, satellite, and private network technologies.
