Job summary

Slate is seeking an Operational Technology (OT) Specialist to design, implement, and secure industrial control systems across body, assembly, paint, and production operations in our USA manufacturing environment.

You will bridge IT and OT, ensure reliable and secure production, and lead or support capital projects while training maintenance technicians on OT systems usage and best practices.

Qualifications

• OT/ICS experience in manufacturing environments.
• Certifications in OT security are a plus.
• Automotive production familiarity is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain OT systems and automation infrastructure.
• Secure data pathways between IT and OT environments (ERP, MES).
• Lead OT cybersecurity initiatives aligned with NIST/IEC standards.
• Troubleshoot OT hardware/software and provide on‑call support.
• Lead or support capital projects for equipment installation and line retooling.
